LANDFILL ACCESS:  8TH AVE. GRAVEL CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.  USE BROWN COUNTY 12 OR SD STATE HWY. 12. 

Brown County Container Sites Locations Temporarily Closed:

1.  Stratford
2.  Columbia
3.  Barnard
4.  Claremont
5.  Putney

With road conditions preventing our hauler (Dependable Sanitation) from accessing the above locations these container sites will be temporarily closed until conditions improve.  Brown County residents that use the above locations for waste disposal should use one of our alternate sites:  Aberdeen (Fairgrounds / Firestation:  South 5th street), Groton (east of town), Ferney, Verdon, Hecla, Frederick, Westport, Elm Lake, Warner (West of 281 one half mile), Mansfield, Houghton and Bath.
